What are you replacing it with?? Hate to see that low of a price but I guess that's what those of us with D2X's are going to be facing when we "upgrade".
Mark is switching to an HP camera. You know that one that has a docking station on a printer? That's the one. He get's it right in the camera, so he's cutting out the middle work...
A D3. I'm photographing a lot of Ellen's indoor sports lately and I need the high ISO. When the D3x comes out sometime next year I'll sell the D3 and get the D3x.
Good luck on the sale, Mark. BTW, have you seen the YouTube videos of this guy basically beating up his D3 to show how strong it is? He drops it, tries to scratch it with car keys, pours coffee on it and then rinses it off with two pitchers of water. It's built tough, but you wouldn't ever see me do that to any camera no matter how much it could take.

I am quite happy now that I waited and have the D300....I was Jonesin' so bad for the D2x at the time it came out.....now you can get a better camera for less than half of that the D2x cost....go figure!

Yeah, I'm figuring that if I don't sell it before I get the D3x it'll be my "backup camera". Meaning, it will sit in the closet for when and if the D3x ever goes down and I have to send it in for repairs. Actually, if that ever happens, even if I have a photo trip planned, I'll probably be so bummed that I'll cancel the trip and won't photo till the D3x comes back. So, for all intent and purposes, the D2x will be a really nice doorstop.
