My name is Todd Hargis and I visit this forum frequently to see all of the beautiful imagery that is put on display. I currently live in Austin, Texas and I would like to be a part of this forum. I hardly get a chance to get out of Texas so my imagery is limited to all parts of Texas. I currently shoot with the Nikon D3 and I have a Nikon D200 for a backup. My interests are broad and include Nature/wildlife, landscape, portraiture, and Astrophotography (here is a photo of me with my 20-inch telescope). All of the photos I have seen on this forum are just awesome!

I have always shot with Nikon Gear and I will stay with Nikon. I have a few good lenses: 20mm 2.8, 50 1.4, 85 1.4, 28-70 2.8, 80-200 2.8. You can visit my gallery at www.pbase.com/todd991 to see my variety of images. I hope to be a part of this great forum and I will post some topics soon.

Welcome aboard Todd. Texas has some beautiful country to be limited to. It looks like you have a great set-up for body and glass. Looking forward to some of your postings.

Welcome Todd. Your picture isn't showing up in my web browser, but I was able to click on it and download. Wow, that's a big telescope! I was only able to take a quick look at your pbase galleries, but you've got some really nice stuff there. I look forward to seeing your work here.

Welcome Todd, glad to have you aboard! Thanks for telling us a little about yourself. I can't seem to link to the image here so if you get a chance and can repost it, we would appreciate it. I'm looking forward to seeing your work!

Welcome! :wavey:

Welcome to the group.

Wow, talk about long glass. Did you build that?

Your astro images are awesome!

The M42 best-Res.jpg image is just incredible.

Welcome, Todd. I am always amazed by Astrophotography. Do you shoot wildlife with that thing? I bet it's a bear to handle on a monopod. Can't wait to see some postings.

Hi Todd - welcome to CSNP! Those are some incredible astro images. It's just mind-boggling what's out there that we can't see without a telescope. I look forward to seeing some of your posts.

Hi Todd - welcome. I live in League City, Tx south of Houston. I know what you mean about Texas. My first passion is birds so it's not hard to find them, living near the coast. Where do you shoot? I am a Nikonian also-D300 and a couple of semi-retired D70s.
