If you are then just say so and I'll post something different

You might not like the comp but it's been shot with the space at the top for a reason and the OoF leaves wouldn't come within DoF even at f64.

They were not playing ball today and I only had 3 come in 3 hours and I was bloomin' perished in that wind we've had today.

Here's a 100% crop straight off the sensor but knocked down to 72dpi

http://wildlifeinpixels.com/img/Fullrez/_DSC9471.jpg

so Mr.King can see what he's missing with that daftly expensive 600 f4 nikkor.

D300
300-800 @ 700mm
ISO 400
1/640th @ f7.1
Full frame
Minor processing in Bibble Pro and CS3

Thanks for looking folks :toast: :toast: :toast: :toast:

Never ever bore of viewing (or taking) Nuthatch pics - had a fair fest of them myself in the last couple of weeks, and there's always just another pose, another prop, another angle etc to take isn't there!

Like this though, and bet you enjoyed taking it too.

Not getting bored at all.
I like the very natural looking perch and good sharpness and accurate colours on the bird.
My only nit is, the bird appears to be tilting back a bit. Perhaps a more upright pose would have been better IMHO, but still a very nice shot as it is. :toast:

I like it a lot, very streamlined on the diagonal with lovely colours.
