Awww...c'mon Jerry. With your photos, it would only take a couple to pay for it, right? OK, maybe it should only take that many.
Michael Reichmann has a preview of the new body posted at the Luminous Landscape. And he's promised a review once he gets his hands on one. The preview also contains an interesting little back story on the medium format digital world.
I think for landscape/studio photographers who already own mamiya gear this is a good news. I mean a back like P20 will produce better results than equivalent MPs cramped on a smaller sensor, no?

Prashant - That's true if the quality of the pixels (i.e. the technology and research behind them) are equivalent. In the case of some of the older or lower MP medium format backs, I doubt that's the case. I would guess (just guess, mind you) that a 25 MP Phase One back wouldn't produce much better image than a 1Ds MkIII. If you're interested, here's a Luminous Landscape 1Ds Mk II vs. P25 comparison.
Thanks David,
I've always taken the reviews with a pinch of salt. Particularly if they are from a website. I personally prefer an opinion from a person like guy tal/Tony Kuyper/Todd Caudle or Jerry G.
However, I agree with you about the older backs.

I'd normally agree with you about reviews, except that Luminous Landscape is a little more geared toward what the final products look like - on screen on in print. (As opposed to reviews that focus on the "numbers" and 200% crops.) So I find them to be pretty good. Of course, in this case it's equipment - actually an entire industry segment of equipment - that I've never even had my hands on.
