For the last couple months, in the little spare time I've had, I've been working on a new blog website: MountainPhotographer.com

I'm still not sure yet what direction I will take the site; so far I've just been trying a little bit of everything.

Anyhow, check it out and let me know what you think! I'd love to hear what you like and don't like about it, or any other ideas.

Oh, and feel free to leave comments on any of the posts, if you so desire.

Thanks.

That's really neat. I expected some sort of diary as blog might imply, but it's more like a online magazine. There are some interesting articles and the interview was quite good. I still have a dial up connection, which is probably a bit old fashioned, but it took a little bit for the page to load. Other than that, no suggestions.

Thanks for the link Jack. The quality of the design and the content are much better than the average "diary" blog.

Very nice, Jack. I agree with Roger in that it is much more like an online magazine. You've got some interesting stories there and I'm insanely jealous on the location of your new home!!

Thanks for your comments! Yes, I've been trying to make the site more relevant than your average "today I went to Target and bought a toaster" type of blog.

At this point it's sort of a combo between online magazine / personal photo journal / and of course a bit of self promotion linking to my gallery site.

Excellent content and definitely more than the average blog, like Roger said, it looks more like an online magazine! Loved the avalanche video, not sure I would like the idea of owning a home there without doing some serious anti-avalanche diversions on the uphill side.

Dear Jack,
I reviewed your blog and enjoyed it. I agree that it is more educational and unique than most. I have also just initiated a blog and trying to have some unique categories. If you get the chance, maybe you can check it out and leave a comment as well. www.PeacemakersArt.com - click blog.

I love it Jack..very informative. I've been working on a possible online magazine for a while now and when I feel it's ready, I'll send you a link to it for your comments before I post it. I'd like mine to be as informative and educational as yours for my target audience.

Keep up the good work and I have bookmarked your site for updates.

Jack
