Taken about three weeks ago.
Have one or two more boxing Hares but its been hard work to get exactly the shot I wanted. Hope there is still time as Hares do box all the year round all be it in moderation.
Dont know if this works or not. If the truth be known I am not at all happy with it, but for those who are not familiar with Hares habits just wanted to share.
D2X's + 600mm AFS II + 1.4 conv.
1/800 @ f5.6
ISO: 400
WB: Cloudy
Colour Space Adobe RGB.
Clour Mode II.
Tone Comp: Less Contrast
Sat: Normal.
Sharpening None.

Great wildlife shot. What nature photography should be all about really.

Love these kind of "busy" shots - they all seem to have their own agenda!

I agree with John R. Nice to see some inter-action. Lots going on and I find myself looking at the picture for longer because of that. Eric

I think I know whats missing Major - an on-the-deck PoV - it's a great behavioural capture and nice to have on file
But imagine the same shot off the deck - AWESOME

A pano crop would work well too IMO.
