European Oystercatcher with a big Lug worm.
Picture taken last week in Aberdeenshire. 1D MK2n 500 mm lens 2x conv. 1/250 sec. F8 Iso 400. All comments welcomed.

Hi John,

Cracking shot, timed to perfection. Cheered me up seeing this with the wind and rain hitting the windows and England having a terrible start in the 3rd test.

Great shot John. Would it be too picky to suggest that it might be a ragworm? Now where is my anorak?

Very nice shot John, i agree with the others is a large Ragworm, the oof bg looks a little weird to me, but its still a nice shot showing the birds natural habits.
