Clear off !
Redstart. Wyre forest
I usually have three drinking pools and hides on the go but this was at a fourth one we built last year. This and a Pied Fly were the only birds I saw there ! This redstart was getting up with a Grey Squirrel coming in from the right.
Turned out OK I thought.
Nikon D200
100-300 Sigma
Low contrast 640 ISO
I dose of Neat Image and two small bright reflections Paint Shop Pro'd out.

Hi John,

Lovely image showing a nice pose. Good colours and composition, only nit is the foreground Oak leaf, gets in the way IMHO.

Regards

Rob

excellent shot, hadn't noticed the oak leaf until it was mentioned but as it blends in with the rock I dont think it is a problem.

Stunning shot of a stunning bird. Repost has the edge for me in the impact stakes.

No wonder my back hurts carrying all you pensioners. At least you aren't wasting my taxes.
Brilliant picture that I would kill for. It's got everything for me; action, colour, environment and a cracking subject.

Beautful image in every way - well timed too. I like both - I hadn't noticed the twig. The colour palate is lovely.
