"Twin" Falls
This is my first post. Tim Ernst pointed me in the direction. I took his photoshop workshop last weekend, and absolutely loved it! I am just getting involved in photography. I actually live in Tanzania, East Africa, but I am from Arkansas. And I am currently in Arkansas, because my wife and I just had our third son. We expect to go back to Africa in August. In the meantime, I thought I would learn as much as I can about photography.

This is one of the three falls at Twin Falls. I took it during the workshop with my Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT. This is an HDR image put together in Photomatix and processed in Photoshop. I would appreciate your critique and advice.

Scott,
Great shot! I like the vertical image which really emphasizes the height of the falls and the glow of the water fall itself.

Hi Scott, good to see your first post. Welcome to the forum. Great shot it looks familiar! Maybe we can get together and go shoot before you head out to Africa.

Very artistic shot Scott. I like the processing effects here and I especially like is the small patch of green water at the base of the falls. Well done, a wonderful first post!

Congratulations of the birth of your new son! :toast:

This is Beautiful Scott. What captures me the most are the beautiful colors in the wall. And as Wayne pointed out, it really brings to light the green at the pool. You have processed this very well. The splash coming back up from the pool almost looks like lightning! I really like this.

Great first post. I do like the emphasis on the single falls and how it accentuates the height. Can't wait to see more.
