Well I took the daughter up in the gorge to take some photos. She said lets not go take the usual photos. She looked up Elowah Falls, both of us have never hiked back there. Well I am not hiking material after three back surgeries, but I thought I would give it a go and we finally made it...

That is a nice hike. It must be great to get out shooting with your daughter, I can't wait until mine is a little older. I hope she has the same attitude as your daughter and wants to explore.
I like the way the path leads to the falls through the trees, you don't often see it included in shots of Elowah. I think it might benefit from some saturation to bring out the color, particularly the yellow moss to the upper left of the falls.
Nice shot from a different perspective from what we usually see on the forum. That hike is indeed a rewarding stroll!!
Ditto on the saturation and the second image is a bit over saturated. Find a happy middle ground and you will have that sweet spot.
I would also note that the waterfall itself is a bit overblown. Use a curve to tone down the hilights and bump up the saturation and this image will sing!!

Not sure what kind of camera you are using but I would like to see this shot with a polarizer filter...to cut the glare on the ferns on the right side of the trail...

Sounds like a great day with the daughter. Mine are nearing the heading out on their own stage so I'm trying to enjoy every day that I can.
