Grey Partridge in the Snow.
One from Sunday the day we got the Snow remember.
Just shows how much we had in places but all gone virtually by the afternoon.
It was pretty grey looking out there but I am pleased I made the effort and was on site by 6.30am.

Nikon D2x's +600mm ASS II + 1.4 conv.
1/250 @ f5.6.
ISO: 200
WB Auto.

Lovely shot Major :toast:

Only thing I'd have done differently is put the partridge a bit further to the right, seeing as he's looking to the left.

But that's just me - and doesn't detract at all - very nice shot :wavey:

The snow makes it Major,

I also agree with Andy and John and would crop differently.

Best regards,

Oh I do Danny how else do you think I am able to hump all that gear about.
Tyre fitting builds your muscles up. If it wasnt for that by now I would be balloon size.
On a serious note though the break at the weekend was great and I did cram quite a lot in.
Hope that sparky out there was out and about as well after all that advice he got about getting up early. (Electrician) Even more big grins.

Tremendous shot Major. I reckon that snow must give an extra half hours light at each end of the day. and the difference it makes to lighting is so helpful, I wish it would snow all the time.

Lovely shot Major, you certainly seem to have made the most of that short spell of snow. We didn't get any down here.

Super capture, Major, in line with your usual high standards. Somehow Greys and snow seem to go really well together.
Best wishes
