These guys are incredibly difficult to locate. Five of us searching and all managed to walk past without spotting them (there were three and we must have been within 20 yrds of them). I eventually found them and my temporary companions, all birders, having got good views went around the back to slow the birds retreat and enable me to get just about in range.

Great shot Paul (location?)
Only nit for me, and its minor, is the bright pebble behind the birds chest. My eye goes straight to it every time.
Cheers

Taken today at Cley. There are three and they seem to be the only ones in the country at the moment. This is my second attempt to get some pictures. They don't allow you to get very close and being quite small the view gets all to easily obstructed.

Hi Paul,
Awesome capture! I did used to see the odd pair on the west coast (here in the IOM) a few years back but now nothing - would love to see them here again! Not saying they aren't here I just haven't seen any nor any of my contacts! For me, I have absolutely no nits with such a rarity at the moment!
