Easter Sunday in the Garden
I'm just getting around to looking at my Easter Sunday shots. I wasn't even planning on doing any shooting that morning, but it was a rotten 24 hours at work, and I needed some "decompression", and photography has always been good therapy.
As Stan mentioned in his thread, we ran into each other up on a hill side. He shot from a different position than I did...here's what I got.

Bob,

It would be nice to see this a bit bigger, but it is a nice shot. I like the low background clouds sitting above the rock formations. And the dappled light on the park is sweet.

A couple things. There are some dust spots up in the sky that could be cloned out. The tower of Babel on the north end of the North Gateway rock is a really interesting formation. Its a shame to lose it.

Looks good, Bob! Those were a great mix of colors for sure. Dont know if you use Adamus' sharpening technique, but if you dont i recommend it, i havent found anything better for the web.

Thanks guys. I was kind of rushing things to get this posted, so I didn't check for dust spots, and forgot to sharpen at all. My bad. :frown:
Thanks for the tips!

Well done, Bob!
I also like the dappled lighting, clouds, and that wonderful light on the rocks.
If you post a larger version on your site, let me know. This size just doesn't do this one justice.

Great light. I love the pure blues combined with the warmer toned rock. Nice angle of view also.
