OT- Springtime in Seattle
Off to Seattle for work this week but armed with the Canon 5D I was able to break away and hit a few pictures. This picture is at the Harborfront steps and represents a 4 image stitch.

I have a few more pics from my trip here here.

Nice stuff Richie. Driving through the brown prairies in winter we tend to forget there are places where stuff is green and blooming ALL the time. I was through there in January and stuff was green. Amazing.

Beautiful stuff! I love seeing trees that like this in cityscapes especially in the Spring. It seems symbolic of hope, renewal, etc... in spite of man's follies.

That Spring Garden shot is awesome as well the Union Park shot. Any chance of pointing the camera toward the Mtns. with the city in frame?

Keep 'em coming!

I am leaving to the PNW in little over a month, can't wait!

Nice shots Richie! Been to Seattle once, and their downtown area is really nice. Love that pic you posted here...

Hey Richie,

I really dig the "Building Reflection" shot. Too cool.

Very nice series Rich. Nice to see stuff blooming. I've just got a handful of early daffodils myself. Its tough to see this though when you've got almost 2 months before the trees leaf out.

Ah, images of home! I really like the abstracts of the Convention Center. Very cool! My wife loves the tulip shots - you must have made it down to the Pike Place Market?

I hope this isn't poor forum etiquette, but Derek asked for a shot of the mountains with the city in the foreground... I couldn't get the mountains in the frame (the captain of the ferry was not very cooperative), but here's a shot of the waterfront.

Thanks Arlen,

It is nice to see the city from the water... And wait it is not even frozen. LOL...
