Nuthatch lunch
Hi to all,

Nuthatch with lunch , photographed this afternoon whilst dodging some very heavy showers (got soaked :frown: but worth it  )

This time I put out a little lunch in the form of mealworms to tempt them down and they worked a treat , infact the Tits and Robins just about cleared me out before the Nuthatches arrived , but I managed to capture a couple of shots , this being my favourite , thanks for looking , and yes , i'll continue to feed the site through the nesting season.

Converted in DPP / Processed in CS2 (Cropped and a couple of stray mealworms removed)

Canon 40D , 300F4IS (Hand held)
about 1/400th @ F4 iso640 I think because like a fool i've deleted the original file so i'm not sure of the exact settings

All comments welcome

Regards

Andy...

I like the image a lot, if i could make 1 suggestion then it would be to have the bird a bit lower in the frame, but still nice as it is

Oh my, live bait   - just kidding :wavey: it's a great shot with lovely colours. I don't think I would change a thing here.
