I have had a change of office and now commute to Oxford instead of London so made a trip to the Farmoor reservoirs this evening. Despite blowing a howling gale I came across this little chap on the causeway
Oly E-3, 300mm plus 1.4 tc, tripod and Sidekick. iso 400, 1/800s at F5.6, Large crop, raw file processed in Oly Studio 2 and tweaked and converted in CS2.

Nice little shot this which I reckon could be improved with some contrast /brightness adj.
Wierd angle too which I realise is the way the bird is approaching you on the bank. Difficultone.
Cheers

adjust to which direction for you - the bird was a very pale fawn winter plumage, I've just reprofiled my laptop and the colours seem true to life still
the crop was chosen to create a series of diagonal lines running through the frame

Nice image Mike but it should be a bit brighter,

Hi Mike,
Lovely capture but I to think an increase in contrast and brightness is required!

Nice shot but I agree it looks a little dull. Looks like you were fighting the light there.
