Mute Swans in Landscape WITH REPOST
This was taken a few weeks ago, early on a cold frosty morning. I particularly like the setting, especially the background plantation of populars with the low early morning light.

Techs: 20D,70-200mm f2.8LIS @ 70mm,f16,1/125sec,ISO200,Hand Held,ACR,CS2,PKSharpner, portrait, cropped from top to remove large area of bland sky.

Please feel free to comment.

Thanks

David

I like the idea and thought that went into the im age but is somehow misses a little bit of impact, maybe the swans should be a big bigger in the frame,

Hello David, I'm agreeing with Rene on this one. I see you cropped from a portrait. I would agree with your choice to go for the portrait but would have framed the shot so that the top was at the level of the tree tops and the bottom level with the edge of the pond. It would almost suit a vertical panoramic so I would crop from both sides as well.
Nice try, I do like to see these environmental shots.

Thanks everyone for your helpful comments. Does this image improve on the previous?

Specs the same as before except taken at 200mm.
