Hi all

Looking at bag/bags to carry my bits in,
I'm all looked out
I really need some pro or experienced advice on this one,
bits consist of:- (all Canon)
two camera bodies
600mm f:4
300mm f:2.8
70-200 f:2.8
24-70 f:2.8
+ 1.2 & 2x converters
plus little bits, and not forgetting tripod
(driving to spain, and trecking thru mountains)

All sound advice gratefully appreciated

Hi Tony,

Give Tom a shout and see if the NPN bag is still availiable, I know he was doing a rerun a few weeks back. that should swallow up the 600 and the 2 bodies and a few of the bits and pieces in the big side pockets.

HTH

Regards

Rob

Hi Tony
I agree with Rob, the npn bag is very good while you are in UK! Not good to travel by plane!
Best wishes

I am using the Thinktank roller cases, very good. I put my Lowe Pro Vertex 300 in a suitcase and once i am at my destination uses the Lowe to "walk around" with my gear.

I use the lowepro super trekker. Don't ask me how i manage, but i've always managed to sneak that in as hand luggage. It'll fit my 300-800, a 300 2.8, 70-200, 16-35,2 bodies, 2 flashes and various bits. Could possibly squeeze a baby in there as well if u really want!

just saw the trekking thru mountains bit... probably not a good idea to trek with that much kit, no matter how good the back support is in your bag. Well unless u have a good free osteopath/physiotherapist afterwards....

Hi Tony,

That’s a lot of gear!

I finally settled upon an MP-1 backpack which isn’t like the usual over engineered padded bags! It’s light before you start I have loaded a tremendous amount of gear into mine and it is very comfortable when on my back! Superb for trekking IMHO! It’ll fit into the smallest overhead locker and still swallow a 600mm with a pro body attached plus numerous other lens & accessories. Email me if you want more information about this bag!

One point though if you want or need good padded protection then this bag isn’t for you!

I had a similar post a few weeks back – check it out! http://www.naturephotographers.net/imagecritique/bbs.cgi?a=vm&mr=26484&CGISESSID=a821e2cd88e49054aa4c4015c6b7def8&u=19955
