Before we go any further I was going to post a Blue Bell shot - don't ever remember seeing them this early before - but thought I'd post this instead.

It took a fair few shots to get this just right but we got there eventually - thank god for digital

D2Xs
Sig 180mm macro
ISO 100
1/320 @ f7.1

Full frame HH

PP in Bibble Pro and downsized with GenFrac5 in CS3

Many thanks for looking folks :toast: :toast: :toast:

PS - I am claiming the first Blue Bell shot

Nice image Andy, excellent sharpness and exposed, wonder if it would also work in a tighter crop.

It would for sure Rene - it's just that at the moment I've gone right off cropping   :wavey:

Are you thinking a bit off the top and a bit off the right?

Nice Andy, Good to see a different image of a common bird. What makes it for me is the dried drop below the eye like a tear drop tattoo. Good image.

Incredible details and colour - no need to crop!
