I was beginning to wonder if the new crop of flowers were every going to make their appearance. I found a patch of Spring Beauties Friday while out hiking the woods. I really wanted to get back out there this weekend but I had a football game to shoot for our local semi-pro team yesterday and I have spent all day sorting thru and processing those images. And watching KU squeak by a win.

Easy to see why they call these spring beauties - they're gorgeous! Nice color and great composition Dale.

This is very nice Dale. A trio is very pleasing to look at. You've captured nice detail and light. The dark background just sets them off even more, good job.

Thanks Brad and Gale. These little flowers do most of the work. They are pretty easy to photograph.
