Bonjour
Yesterday when I saw the weather, I was extremely disappointed! They had forecasted rain and wind and it was wall-to-wall blue sky. After swearing and cursing the weather forecast man for 10 minutes .I decided that it was too late to travel anywhere so I went to my local patch with my long lenses to try to photograph common bird.
After a hour I was surprised to see a almost tame goldcrest....the problem was that the bird never stop moving I must have taken 500 pictures just to get 10 sharp one. This is one of them.
Canon with 500mm and 1.4 640 iso. Picture has been crop a little.
Bonne journee

Nice Gold crest image. Many of these little birds can be very approachable when they are in the mood for it. That or they were more bothered by feeding than by being fed on?

Very good capture Frederic , I had one down to 15ft the other day and still didn't manage anything as good as this.
