Wet Hawk
Sparrow hawk bathing
This is at a larger open pool -very different from the woodland site. No problems with light.
D200 Sigma 100-300mm
Tight in the frame, but that's as it was .You can be too close sometimes.

Thanks.
Sadly- this pool has now been filled in by the quarry people . I had some great times there.
It was onlytwenty foot across and I used to get up to a dozen Lapwing at atime.

Very good.

I love the yellow eye amongst all that brown and white. Really stands out. And the movement is great.

Another great shot John. Funny how we all go for feeding stations, when water is essential to every species and free!
I take my hat off to you.
