Chris, it is a nice flyby of these Brent Geese but the exposure seems a bit off. Maybe you can recover it a bit in Photoshop?

Hi Chris,
Nice capture! I like the composition! Agree about the exposure!

Thank you guys, I am constantly struggling with get the exposure adjusted right to what is considered good on my PC. Beginning to wonder about my own judgement, are yuou say under or over ?
The dark areas are a little blocked up on my screen. But increase the exposure, and you run the risk of blowing the whites. Pain in the arse, these black and white birds!
I would crop a touch from the bottom, to remove some of the distracting white highlights on the sea.

Yes _ You could bring out the blacks. I use the fill flash in Paint Shop Pro.That won't affect the high lights. More space on the left would help if its a crop.If not - a stretch job.

Yes I get what you are saying now.... thank you.
I'm going to re-adjust in PS, Didn't know that "fill flash" won't effect the highlights, can anyone point me to the PS equivilent.
Great insight chpas ... thank you

Try shadow/highlight tool or alternatively just use a curve, something like this:

A difficult subject for the reasons already mentioned. A nice composition worth more PS work
