All aboard
Very wet Sunday but forced myself out onto the hills. Glad I did as I managed to catch a really impressive movement of frogs down off the hill to a small, mesotrophic lochan. There were several hundred just in the vicinity of the path that I was on and every puddle was full of them enjoying, enthusiastically, a bit of Spring behaviour. At least the males seemed to be enjoying it - somewhere under this lot is an unfortunate female!

An interesting image that possibly would have benefited from the use of a polariser just to lose some of the reflections on the wet skin of the frogs; a good sign that spring is finally here though!
