Shopping Cart Options?

I need to update my shopping cart on my web site. It currently isn't compatible with Firefox and I'd like to have something where I can easily update the prices rather than individually change the prices on every page. I still need to send the buyer to PayPal to make the payment. An example of my current setup can be seen at:

It would be nice to have something with two drop-down menus, one to select size and one to select framing options (but this would make calculating prices more complicated). I'm wondering what suggestions people might have for implementing a better shopping cart. I wouldn't mind paying a one-time fee for something better, but wouldn't want to pay recurring fees.

Thanks!

I use the standard Paypal shopping cart, and it works fine for what I need. I use two drop-downs for submitting info, but the second list doesn't affect cost at all. Not exactly what you are looking for, but it works well enough. And works fine in IE and Firefox. You can see an example HERE.

I'm interested as well as I'd like to integrate something similar into Gallery 2 on my site. I'm not certain that I'd expect too much traffic through internet sales, but I'd like to have the option at least.

Perhaps a single drop down would be fine for me though.

I usually avoid self-promotion on forums, but it seems you're asking for exactly the kind of thing that I provide. Check out http://www.widerange.org/photo.php?id=600 as an example. The prices are controlled via an admin control panel. See http://www.widerangegalleries.com for more info.

I'll second Jack's (modest) self-promotion. Works slick! Check out my Web when you get a chance...

Thanks Brent for the link. I may be able to use that and incorporate #include to make updating prices easier. I assume you don't mind me copying the code you used. If I do use it, I'll give a one-way link from my site to yours.

Thanks for the info, Jack. That is the type of cart I'd like. Are you able to offer that separately from your whole web site package? If I were building a site from scratch, I'd likely use your program. But since I get good traffic and sales from my current site, I'm not going to mess with it (as ugly as it is). I'm just looking to improve the way people add items to the PayPal cart.

Grant - You can feel free to use the code from my site. After all, I got most of my Paypal code from Scott Bacon. You can't see it just by viewing the source code in your browser, but there are a bunch of Includes on my pages. The actual code for the page is very minimal, and I think there are three or four Includes which provide the bulk of the page.

If you need any more help, just drop me an email.

Grant, when I moved over to Jack's system my site didn't miss a beat or even lose any ratings in Google. My sales also dramatically increased as people felt more comfortable with the professional checkout system. When you decide to get serious about selling photography I'd highly recommend it.
