Has anybody seen/photographed their first Adder yet?
I have checked my local heath expecting to see them but haven't, am I doing something wrong? I have been out in sunshine but sometimes the wind has got up so maybe this has had something to do with it.
Just interested to see if anybody else has had success.
If its any consolation I spent about 2hrs Suday looking to no avail.
I checked my images from last year and it was on the 31/03/07.
Keep looking anytime now, but I do know there have been some on show in other areas.
I see there was an adder reported at Slapton on the 19th March. I also remember that they have been reported at Clennon Valley, Paignton (near the sports centre) in the past, but I have never been to check it out.

Chris.
I photographed my first Adders this year two weeks ago. I find the best days are when its calm and warm but slightly overcast. Good hunting.
