I took this picture in early November while hiking up Wetterhorn Peak. Roughly 40% of the image was cropped to this perspective, which I like. What do you guys think? Thanks for looking. Oh, image was taken with an Oly E-1 and 14-54. Thanks again for looking

Sorry this image is so small! To see a bigger version you can check out my flickr website...the image is under my favorites.

I think you should re-post it in this thread at 720 pixels wide so we can truly marvel at its beauty! Looks like a great shot worth further scrutiny.

Man, that is one fine collection of pics on flickr! I love, love, LOVE the ones of the three climbers silhouetted against the sky. The shots of Wetterhorn's top section, climbing up that sunlit wall, are great, too. Nice stuff!!!

Sorry, I keep noticing other shots! Did you notice in pic #PB041055 that you've got Wilson, Gladstone, El Diente and Mt. Wilson on the horizon, and to the left of that Lizard Head is poking up behind a ridge? To you other guys who are going to check these out on flickr, do the show all sizes option and pick the original size.

Todd,

You don't know how much your comments mean to me. I have looked at your photography for a while now and for you to look at mine and give such positive feedback is much appreciated. Thanks so much! I submitted that silhouetted picture on Wetterhorn to the "Life's and Adventure" reader photo contest for National Geographic Adventure magazine and took 3rd! Kind of exciting.

Finally, how can I repost with a bigger version. I tried to post a bigger version initially, but it wouldn't work. Does it have anything to do with me not being a member?

Thanks again for looking!

That is some very nice light and is quite the scene. Welcome to RMNP Justin.

You would need to be a member of NPN to post additional photos in a thread Justin. It will also give you the ability to post in the larger photo critique forums.

This forum allows you to post images up to 720 pixels on the long side. If you are a member, you can edit them in photoshop to the desired size and then upload from your PC.

Mel,

Thanks for the comment and info about the forum. I guess because of the crop of the picture, the smaller version had to do. It looks like I will need to become a member, which will be nice because I have had nothing but good experiences whenever I'm on the website. Thanks again for looking and commenting!

Nice shot... great contrasting blue and yellow colors. I really like your black and white shot of hikers on Wetterhorn.
