Frustration.
Pic. taken recently, waiting for a Male Hen harrier and a Buzzard to come closer but in the end they flew off. The light was so dramatic that I had to take a picture of something so I took this sheep. Techs 1D MK2n 500mm lens 1.4 conv 1/500 sec. F10 Iso 200. All comments welcomed.

Hi John,

It certainly looks dramatic! Nice warm glow! Lovely capture! Shame you didn't get a crack at the raptors!

too far away, light too dull, with car in fobidden area ...
I did not even have a sheep

Oh the constant frustration that seems to be part of wildlife photography...I get really despondent sometimes and have to give it all a miss and do some other photography, like motorbiking.
I know though that the joy of it all working and coming off as planned is tremendous too and it is that which keeps me returning to bird photography again!

Hi John,

Could I suggest that you have a quick browse of the 'Timely Reminders' topic at the top of the forum...
