I went down on my belly for this shot, much to the squirrels amusement.

Cheers now

Hello Tim.

Great capture, the pose and setting work well together. I,m hoping to get these some time but I think this will take some beating. :wavey:

Hi Tim

Nice image, lovely composition and pose from Mr Squirrel.

To my eye this image looks rather flat and needs a tweak to curves and levels to bring it to life. Here is my quick bash, hope you don't mind, just pulled the levels sliders in a bit and a slight S curve applied. Be careful not to oversaturate the orange.

regards

Sean

Great shot Tim,
I like the low viewing point
good try Sean,
I would prefer more the first edition,
because the smoother BG.

Hi Sean,
I can see what you mean, and agree it does need bringing more to life, I shall fiddle more, still getting to grips with the new camera.

Thanks all for comments!

Here's a compromise:

Hi Tim

Compromise looks better. For my taste still a fraction flat but it is a case of 'season to taste' I think.

How is the D3? Does it live up to the hype? If only I didn't own so much Canon kit......

cheers

Hi Sean,
Rumours have it that a similar spec to the D3 5D canon upgrade is coming. I think the D3 is fantastic, in Vienna last week inside church's I was shooting without the need of a tripod or flash so low light is now no problem. The pics are always very sharp, the focus is very fast and accurate, flight shots as I've said before are now only limited by the users reactions. I'm a very happy owner I only wish for more time to play and half a dozen more lenses and a porsche  , oh and Kierra Knightley  .

Cheers
