Pantanal: Caracara landing
Sitting quietly by the River Claro I noticed this Caracara looking as if he might land within reach, which is what he did. I have several frames but this is the one I liked best but may not be to everyone's taste I presume.

D2x, 200-400, 1/320 F/4, Iso 320, Tripod
Raw, PS Cs3

Hi Paula,
Now I like that one a lot nice clear head and tail and motion captured in the wings.

Great shot Paula. My only nit is that it seems to have a sight purple tint on my monitor.

Cheers,

Dan.

Great job getting the head sharp with the movement blur in the wings. Looks like you had a profitable trip!

An unusual pose - I love the contrast of the sharp head and blurred wings.....
