Wild Kingdom
I was working in my office late yesterday afternoon, when something caught my eye. I turned to find these three hen turkeys staring at me -- not three feet away through the window.

By the time I retrieved my camera bag, they had moved a good distance away. This shot is cropped a great deal, and only serves to document the event.

A few minutes later a herd of six deer came thundering through the yard, spooked by something (I've heard coyotes yipping at night).

Then the male red-shouldered hawk of our nesting pair came screeching through the trees with a mouse for his lady who is sitting on eggs.

Somewhere, Marlin Perkins is smiling ...

Sounds like you are having lots of visitors. Things have been quiet on the farm lately. I haven't seen much of anything.

Back in those days I never missed Marlin Perkins on Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom. That admission certainly dates me.

Yesterday I had a Sharp-shinned Hawk land on a branch two feet outside my office window with a Junco in it's talons. I just froze. At least you got a picture!

The view outside my office window is of another office building. I also get to see pigeons. :jump:

What a view to have, Chuck! Glad you were able to at least get a shot of the turkeys.

My wife told me that a whole group of wild turkeys was spotted just outside the corporate limits of Indianapolis this morning...apparently she got a look on her way into work. I've seen wild turkeys twice, and neither time was anywhere near my place of work.
