Cormorant in snow shower
I didnt see many of them, actually this was the only one during the trip, while it was fishing in Vardo harbour. Everytime it dived, i moved closer. I was lucky that it started to snow and the water got its nice colouring from a building. It is not often you see a cormorant in the snow...

A lovely shot.

It's getting something different like this that makes spending lots of time in the field worthwhile. :toast:

Lovely detail in the feathers - a nice shot all round with that snow as well. Never noticed the white head feathers before is that common/usual?

Thanks Eric, the white headfeathers appear in the breeding/courtship period. The Cormorants look best then!
