Scouting outing
I visited the Buffalo River yesterday to see the waterfalls and check on the wildflowers. I saw trillium, bloodwort, and many others growing but not blooming yet. I think the area around Camp Orr is going to be covered with many types. I had to shoot the Twin Falls while I was there. There is a color version in ESS. C7C welcome.

A nice B&W version of these falls perhaps marred only by the limbs sticking in at the lower left. I've always loved the cascades at the bottom of the center fall. Just fascinating!

Thanks TIm. I do like black and white. I like the cascades too.

Nice work Glenn. I'm glad you're out scouting ... make sure to make a list! I still envy how lucky you all are to have such spectacular scenery accessible. I like the b/w presentation but like Tim, I'd clone out the small branches at LL. Thanks for sharing.

Great job Glen.I really don't mind the color version but the b&w version does edge it out for me too. Great to hear you've been out scouting, keep up the good work. Thanks.

Thanks for the comments. Here is a repost without the branches. I do need a better lens. Anyone got a recommendation?

Glen I shot this also. Your capture is good. I was upset to see the fall cedar coming off the bluff. This time maybe a chainsaw isn't a bad idea. :frown:

Nice B&W here Glenn. This is a beautiful waterfall, and you caught the flow just right. I wonder how long it will take for that tree to wash over...

With the twigs cloned out, your composition on this seems just right, Glenn. Very nice. What camera and lens did you use for this?

John,
I use a Nikon D-200 with a Tamron 17-50mm. I like the lens but had an accident and now the zoom doesn't function well. It still does a good job but I need to replace it.
