Guys

A little while back I believe there were some restrictions in place with regard to access to some areas because of disease which was killing a number of these Squirrels. It might be worth giving the NT office a call before you travel

Thanks for that Barrie - I just assumed it was all clear now seeing as the frightfully youthful Mr.Bate( ) had been there the other day.

I went one saturday recently with no problems, however, the whole of liverpool was visiting that day so pick a mid week day is my advice.

I would keep away from the squirrel trail and head to the opposite side of the carpark as i have found this more productive and less people-Have fun

Last time I went I got there early for the gates opening as the Ranger had advised. When the temp is low they come out until lunch time then disappear. Just like he said by 1145am hardly any at ground level, they all went high into the trees..Hope it helps

Early start recommended, and also later in the mid-week as the half of Liverpool that visits at the weekend stuffs all the squirrels so full of monkey nuts they simply aren't hungry on Mondays or Tuesdays!!
