Bonjour
Last evening I went to try to photograph badger. I have found a new site that is quite spectacular! The site is an Oak tree of about 800 years old with a massive girth. About 2 feet from the ground there is a hole and the badger are living under that massive tree. I have seen them climbing the tree up to two meter high. Yesterday I took my camera for the first time and I took just one picture of a young badger popping his head out of the hole.
The Picture was taken with a mark 3 and a 300mm F2.8 I also use a 580ex flash at minus 1 and ¾ stop.
I tell you I cannot wait for the summer......to photograph them in daylight.
Bonne journee

Spectacularly different Frederic,
my own new sette is positively boring compared to this. I too am looking forward to the summer and hopefully some daylight shots. Best of luck.

A fine shot and hopefully they'll be many more to follow over the coming months.
