Bluebird / Cardinal
Well it kind of looks like spring might be on the way although it is snowing out now. The Bluebirds returned a week ago and I was hoping to get some shots of them during our snowstorm but they were nowhere to be found.

Phil, amazing capture. I saw the bluebird and thought, that's nice. I then scrolled down and saw the cardinal and, boy, was I surprised. The background makes both stand out, and both are nicely in focus. Way to take advantage of a serendipitous moment.

Excellent image Phil, very clean capture too. I'd like a touch of midtone contrast maybe. It's good to see the birds coming back!

Phil--really nice--Did you trey cropping both sides to make it a vertical? Just personal preference but a very, very unique capture.

Very fun to see these two together in one image. Nicely captured, Phil.

One normally doesn't see these birds together, which makes the image that much better. Good capture, Phil.

Jack brings up a good suggestion IMO. A vertical crop of this would really have those birds standing out even more. Excellent detail on both birds...nice capture.

Thanks for the comments. Here is the vertical crop.

Wow...great capture. Two for the price of one. I think I like the uncropped version a bit better. The bluebird has more "space" to look into in the original.
