The title says it all, not sure if the composition is right.
There was a pair of these minute owls and although I saw them around about the farm several times, this was the only shot I got.
Unfortunately during my stay I hardly had good light, it was always hazy due to the smoke of the many fires in the air. You could smell it everywhere.
Its a really nice image but its hard to comment upon the composition without seeing the FF shot.

Nice one. Theres something crying out in me to drop the bird a bit and put at the top right but as someone has said - all depends on the crop.

very nice setting, agree with John about the comp though
Nice one Paula agree about a possible addition to the top end but really for me if that BG had been more of an opposite colour it would have set things off even more.

From a comp PoV Paula its not quite working for me - but blurred elephants thrashing OoF water doesn't work for me either, so what do I know
As Tom said, seeing the FF would help though I think Alans suggestion is a good starting point.

It all works very well for me amd I like the composition.
But i think some more room on the left would really help the comp more.Bit to close to that edge IMO.
