Took my other half for company and she does not like getting up for sunrise drives so it more about exploring for future shoots. I did get a nice surpise with some roadside lady sheep though. Man those critters blend in to the surroungings. Here's a shot so how many can you find?

John,
I see 5 -- they do blend in well. I saw a herd of rams about this size going through Glenwood Canyon a couple weeks ago, nowhere to stop though. My ex didn't like getting up before sunrise either, needless to say I didn't do much picture taking when we were travelling together.
John.,,,How many do you see? I see 5. By the way here's a receipe for getting out for sunrise shots when your better half is travelling with you. You crawl out of the sack quietly,
take the dog out (if you have one). Put on the Coffee and turn up the heat (if you travel in an RV). Then you take off and shoot for a couple of hours come back and take her out to breakfast. This has worked well for 42 years!

Boy, you probably wouldn't have even noticed them if it wasn't for the bright white of the one mooning you!
Fortunately, my fiancee has no problem with me taking off for a morning shoot without her. Even though she enjoys shooting as well, she just can't tear herself away from that warm bed!
Grant you need another drink I see 24! Great catch John! My secret is to set the coffe for 0400, slip outta bed quietly, take the coffee but reset it for 9 or 10 then go shooting and get back in time for that second cup. But Every now and then gotta take the wiffee wifme and make it a day that I have to stop at an antique shop on the way back.
Well Grant wins the grand prize! I will post the other pic with all 19 of 'em moonin the camera! The others are out of the frame. I kept waiting for a ram to show but he never did.
Usually I go out alone at so dark thirty but wifey needed a break so I slept late so she could go along. First time we have seen sheep and we would have missed them if not for the moonshine LOL!

Glad you got out there John. Hopefully you can catch sunrise sometime now that you had a chance to scout things out.
