Hi, I just returned from a short escapade to Arizona (well, it was all just an excuse to drive through Vegas).
This is from the Glen Canyon Horseshoe Bend, once I bagged the classic shot with the complete bend I set out to look for other comps... this is what I came back with.
Enjoy!

the patterns where the green meets the wall are stellar! this composition is full of lines and patterns, very nice work Enrique.
A wonderful take on this location, Enrique. The first thing that comes to mind is the strong feeling of vertigo. I mean what a drop! Your composition is quite intruiging and makes me wonder what lies around the bend.

Glad you brought your diving board to stand out over the edge
Looks like a nice early AM image with the sunrise light bouncing and reflecting the light
from the edges of the canyon back down into the water..... yes/no?
Nice job on getting the saturation of that quiet light time.
This an interesting take on this subject.
Although, there are many pluses, my eye does not seem
to settle "in the composition" but wants to wander off downstream.
Would love to see your other takes from here
Nelcha, yes it was early AM the sun had just started hitting the top of the res walls and contrast was too high for a wide view so I concentrated on smaller sections... and if your eye wanders downstream then the pic accomplished it's goal.
