This is from the last lot Barrie but to a certain degree they remain active nearly all year but are not so easy as if they ever were.

Lovely!! Well captured! :toast:

I was out with the hares again this morning, and they were very busy.....sitting around doing nothing

Have you ever seen a hare roll over? A bit like a cat does, they were all doing it this morning. My sisters pet rabbit used to do this in hot weather, but I've never seen a hare do it before...it looks very strange! Could it be grooming or scent marking? Or knowing hares, just for the hell of it?

Lovely sharp shot btw, great action!! :toast:

They do all sorts Dawn just for the hell of it.
Had one the other week do a head over heels as it ran off. In other words it fell over its self.
When they are doing nothing you just have to sit it out and wait for some action.
In this image it took over two hours for some real action to start.
