Or maybe d'gut. (As in, check out d'gut on that guy!)
A few of us decided to take a couple-day break from our lives as dads-with-young-children and head of to Utah for a couple days. BrentD, Scott Bacon, Chris Ebright and myself spent a few days last week in various locations in Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument and Capitol Reef National Park. It was great to finally get out and shoot again, and put my new D300 to the test (previously only used for family snapshots and my daughter's soccer games). Anyway, HERE is a quick slideshow I threw together of a few of the images from the trip. No captions or locations on any of these, sorry. Once I get them into my web site's Galleries, I'll have more of that information.
All images are from my Nikon D300 with Tokina 12-24, Tamron 24-135 or Nikon 200mm macro. Imported into Lightroom, and exported as a Lightroom web gallery.

Several nice ones in there Brent. The Moki Marble ones are all really nice. I'm definitely getting the itch for a trip out there. I'll be out there in one month from now.

Looks like you guys are having way too much fun! - Dad's playing with marbles.
Very nice gallery. I'm looking forward to seeing more from the group.

Some well seen patterns of nature in that collection. Looks like you made good use of your time away! Now get back to fatherhood, would ya!!

Some really nice images there, Brent -- looks like a very productive couple of days. Looks like the new camera passed its first test, great stuff!
Cool stuff Brent!! Glad you guys had a good trip and were able to get away. I really like the Moqui shots that include the surroundings. Nice work!!

Thanks for the comments, everyone! We certainly had a great time. It was quite an interesting experience. Bunch of guys sitting around the campfire, basking in the glow of laptop screens. I'm looking forward to seeing Brent, Scott and Chris's shots, too. I'm interested to see our different shooting styles from the same locations. BrentD shot some video, too, which I'm eager to see.

Looks like a great time and very rewarding trip.
Great shots!
What's that tiny little thing on Scott's tripod?

Well, it's definitely not a LF camera. Sounds like he's pretty much left that behind. Didn't even bring it with him on this trip. He's shooting a 30D now, desperately waiting for the 5D update he thinks is coming any day now.

Great collection Brent! Sorry it took me so long to get in on this stuff. I really dig your Bentonite Hills stuff. I could have shot in there for a few more hours! Only issue I see with your images is the first one, the silhouette. You picked some dubious subject matter for that one! And thanks for photo shopping about 15 pounds off of me!

Thanks for checking in, BrentD! Still waiting to see some of your shots from this trip! I want to see those photos of my awesome dinners.
I was surprised as how well the Bentonite Hills stuff came out. Very nice for absolute midday shooting. You're right, I could have spent a lot more time there. I have a ton more shots from that area that came out really nice. It was tough to narrow it down.
As for that silhouette.... it took all of my PS skilz to take off some of that gut, as requested by the subject. There needs to be a plugin for that.
