Texas Wildflowers

I have visited some of the known "Wildflower Watch Sites" although I may not have found the best. My question is of course concerning wildflower locations for the Texas Hill Country. I will be traveling next week in and around San Antonio and Marble Falls. I understand this has not been a very good year for wildflower showings but hoped someone could give me a recent update of any nice spots they have seen in the last few days or any other "don't miss" photo op's in this area.

David: I did not go to the Hill Country this year because the reports were so bad. A few of my reliable places in Washington County (Brenham area) were ok but definitely sub-par. I've always found this site to be helpful. Good luck. >=))>
