Canon 1D Mk2 image problem

Hello

I've noticed a problem with a number of images from my 1D Mk2.

The problem manifests itself as a feint blurred line at the top of the frame - running the full length of the frame. It appears on most frames that I've looked at.

The image attached is just a RAW to Jpeg - full frame.

Any thoughts?

I suppose it's going to have to go for a holiday at Canon Service Centre this week.

Shutter bounce or bad sync?

Certainly looks like a shutter issue, bounce or second curtain sticking slightly giving the over-exposure line

Minor corrosion/moisture on the shutter is the most common cause of this.
I've had most of my cameras suffer from this at some stage in their lives. One of my Mk2's has been cleaned of this twice and the other has been done once. Johnstones of Glasgow charge £38 for a thorough clean and service, with a turnaround of less than a week.

Thanks for the ideas chaps.

I'll reply to the group when I've had the work done.
