Wooden Shoe First Outing
Well, first outing and while I wasnt thrilled, it wasn't a waste either. Hope the balloons are there over the next two weekends as well. While I am placing my order with the universe...a little fog and clouds for some atmosphere would be nice.

That's pretty cool that they are launching balloons there now. Flowers are nice, but flowers with balloons is even better. I haven't been there in a few years, looks like a good reason to go check it out again.

It appears the weather was favorable, but I agree with your request for some atmospherics. A little mood would make for a great shot.

What do you mean you didn't get anything yesterday?!? I like this! I wish the sky had clouds, but I think this works without them too!

Sorry i missed you guys on Saturday. the foggy fields on the way into woodburn caught my eye, and I got some ood shots there before heading to the tulips.
I have some very sore muscles from kneeling and getting up repeatedly for hours!
Curtis ! sorry I "stole" your photo subject in my Man and Nature photo! I didn't see your pic until just now!

Placement of the deciduous tree branches gives the colorful balloon a sense of scale. Veddy nice!

Great shot, and thanks for organizing the trip. My son and I had a great time.

Roman,

I've been meaning to pop back into this thread and thank you for the work you put into on this trip, and apologize for not making it! (I arrived home exhausted the night before after three days of shepherding a group of high school sophomores, and didn't make it out of bed in time.)

It was my pleasure to help oganize this portion of the tulip spring outing.
