Eared Grebe
One of my recent holiday snaps, an Eared Grebe. This was taken in my now favourite place in Las Vegas.....the sewage works! Well, it actually goes under the name of the Henderson Bird Viewing Preserve that is part of the water reclamation facility. If you ever find yourself in Las Vegas this is the place to visit for bird photography. I really wish I could have spent more time there as the species diversity and shooting opportunities are fantastic.

Hi Paul,
I know this a black necked grebe, had one visit a local pond a couple of years ago. It's their demon red eyes that fascinate me, nice POV just a little over cooked on my monitor.

Nice one Paul!!

Agree a small processing tweak would polish it off :toast:

Hi Paul,

Very nice capture! A little re-work with the processing and it'll be a corker!

Lovely low angle. Maybe just a little on the bright side, but a great image nonetheless.
