I was out this morning, looking for the Adders again, but the weather was not promising, however, after being out about two hours the sun came out, along with the Adders, they really are very frustrating to photograph,as there's always something in the way,and you almost never seem to see them out in the open, but the challenge is good for me,and I was quite pleased to get them both to gether.I did find a mating pair, but it was all going on in thick grass,so no pictures worth keeping. If at first you dont succeed???

Well done Stewart at least you found some. In spite of some sunshine there was quite a cold wind here in Norfolk and after about an hours searching I gave up. :toast:

Nice to see the typical male/female colours. Not good enough weather around us for mating yet.

I was out at the weekend to - in essex - and had a somewhat frustrating time too, but at least I found some snakes - both adders and grass. I shall go back with a keep on preserving attitude. But I like that shot - always hard to get a different perspective on these creatures.
