Hi Guys,
After posting two shots of the male Bluethroat from my recent series. It is now time for the rarely seen female. I was very pleased to have been able to capture one of the females as these are very hard to capture ase they tend to stay on the ground between the reeds all day long..
Perhaps not as nice as the more colourfull singing males but still glad i got this rarity...
Greetings,

Just because she's not as 'showy' doesn't mean she's less appealing - nice capture Jeroen

This is another fine shot, good to see the female as a comparison to the resplendent singing male you posted, good work!

A thrill to see, but must be extremely satisfying to get such a fine shot {along with the male} in the bag!!
