Hi Folks,

This week's theme is:
Post Processing Techniques-1 - Submitted by Charlie Van Tassel. Beg, borrow, or dig into the closet for an older digital camera with 3 megapixels or less and take some jpeg images at the lowest resolution. The purpose of the them is to demonstrate what you can accomplish with various post processing techniques--adjusting levels, contrast, photo filters, or other techniques. Describe how you accomplished the final result.

We have some interesting images upon which to feast your eyes and perhaps they will provide some ideas.

Essense of the Gods by Stan Rose
Medrone Impression by Zack Schnepf
A California Poppy by Carol Hyman
Milk Anyone? by Danny Young aka nzmacro
Jumping Into It by Barbara Dodge Zarrella

We still have a lot of time this week to post images so hopefully when you've filed your taxes, you'll have time to post an image taken with a digital camera with small lo-res images.

See ya :wavey:

An interesting theme Carol from Charlie. Just a question, is it more about the image from a low res camera, or more about the post processing ??. Ahhh, is it about a manipulated image or just a straight shot and what you did to make it look better ??.

Anyway, come on folks, you must have something from the archives at least

Well, I just got to thinking about that drawer full of dusty old cameras I've got here, as I'm sure some of you do too.... and I see that these days a lot of us are using thousands of dollars worth of camera equipment to take the photos we post here on NPN. I went back and used some of my old stuff and was pretty impressed with how good even 3 megapixels can be. Besides, it's not the camera..... it's the photographer, right?

So that's where I was comin' from.... :wavey:
