"Wavefront"
San Mateo Coast, California, January 2007
I haven't been out since December, so no new photos to share at the moment. However, here is an older one that I am currently preparing for printing. It is part of my "Coastal Stones" series.
I like the diagonal view of the scene, Anil. The composition works very well with this beach/seascape. The stop action of the wave also helps place more emphasis toward the stones then the water. I also like how the sunlight skips across the water, wave, submerged stones, and then onto the beach sand.
Nice image, Anil. I like it a lot as presented, but I like it even more with the wave cropped out. The rocks, whitewater and yellow light on the water is outstanding on its own.
The rocks on the bottom left really anchor this one very nicely, I also like Harley's crop suggestion, it would simplify the scene and reinforce the effect.
