Hood River Bloom ( macro )
While out checking out the Orchard this weekend I realized how calm the air was so I decided to try some macro work....

Camera: Nikon D300
Exposure: 0.25 sec (1/4)
Aperture: f/18
Focal Length: 60 mm
ISO Speed: 100

Darren, this is very nice. Good dof. I like how the barest blush of pink at the petal edges are picked up the stamens. Might I suggest to tone the highlights in the bg waaay down so your beautiful blossom is the star of the show.

Really nice Darren. I agree with Catherine about toning down BG whites so the flower pops even more.... nice and crisp and the color is really beautiful.

Very nice and elegant except for the right side. If that were cleaner it would be awesome all over.

I'll second what Mark said. It's a tad messy on the right side and it messes with my chi

I love the way you captured the stamens here.
